Currently I'm just puling out all of the prob and stat equations that i know and using them in the begining. Currently i can't think of a better way to show the AI of the opposing pokemon except randint( s which i believe takes a lot of free time and space that could be applied to something else. Do any of you know how to do it easier? Any help will be appreciated and your user name if you help me will appear in the credits (added bonus)

However, if you insist on making this game, I suggest you stick with randInt(X). It doesn't take much time if it's only limited to four variables. However, you may want to make a separate program for AI, since your current system would be too random and not enough smart; for example, enemies would not use elemental advantages except by chance.

Yeah I've played those supposed remakes and they aren't that realistic. the houses don't look like the original game. my game is going to be made with ASCIII graphics and it will look much more like the original game than either one of those games.

Seriously, making another one would just be redundant. Take a look at Pallet town; I'm sure you'll find enough motivation in that to program something more original. Also, what is ASCIII? I've only heard of ASCII.
