You can't quit. You'll reduce our population. By our I mean the non-idiot population.

It is much easier to suggest solutions when you know nothing about the problem.

exactly 3fg, watch your words... only people with <10 posts are probably idiots, considering the others need some smarts inorder to work their calculators.

yes, but stupid people dont post in repitition, day after day. You would only do that if you loved calcs, and to love them you would have to understand them, and to understand them you would have to have some level of intellect.

Some people can talk a surpising amount about stuff they don't know about, actually... Trust me, it's what I do in English class.

I cannot begin to tell you how many times I've done that.

I suppose I owe everyone a real explanation for why I'm quitting before I'm really done here. Ever since I started programming (2 or more years ago), it has served as a nearly uncontrollable addiction. This makes me do well in it, but also consumes my life and keeps me from really living. Calculators have become my life much more than I ever would have wanted.

As far as why I'm forced to stop (a good thing), it's pretty much the same as everyone else who's in my situation: There's just not enough time. If I were to continue my life here, then that would be denying myself the much-needed time that would otherwise be used for schoolwork and music. As much as I have supported and tried to be a part of CalcGames, it's something I really need to let go. Screwing around during class isn't something I want to devote my life to, especially not instead of anything else.

It's nice to see that people care about me here. Maybe I'll get back into calcs someday if I'm ever able to get my life together. As for all my projects I have right now, I'd like for them to be considered merely postponed. But, as of right now, my life is in shambles. I need much more than moral support, and extra time would improve my life drastically. I think of many people here as friends, though, and don't want to leave on a bitter note with anyone.

Well, I guess that's it. I don't know when I'll be back, but I'll bet that at least 100 cheese pizzas could fit into the amount of time it'll be.

You can still stay here without programming, you know. that's what I did when all my projects got in the way of my life, but leaving is, of course, your prerogative.

Z: I've noticed. My avatar comes from such a site where we are overwhelmed by people like that.

Edit by L: No.
