I'm a complete idiot when it comes to these kinds of things so I'll do my best to describe what I did.
The other day I purchased a TI-89 to get ready for my upcoming semester at school. I DL'd TI Connect, having no trouble connecting to my PC and updated to AMS 4.00 and HW 3.10. I hope I have that right. A friend of mine told me if I install a program called PreOS I could install many programs... and of course games! Here's where the problem kicks in.
I downloaded a zip named pedrom-0.82, among other files. I moved the file PedroM-89i.89u to the calc and ran it. THINKING it was the right program. After installing it I was, and still am, presented with what seems to be a dos prompt. I had no idea what to do next. It looked completely wrong. So I just turned the calc off and reconnected it to my PC. Now my PC and TI-Connect both won't recognize it! I just used it like 2min ago! What did I do wrong? Did I ruin it? Is there anything I can do so I can do it right next time? I tried removing all the batteries and I tried the different methods of holding certain keys down.
Thank you guys for your help! ~ I'm a dumb person =(

PedroM doesn't support TI Connect, but it should work with TiLP. Why not try installing TI's operating system that way?
