Monsuco Probe Posted: 3 Jun 2009 15:37 GMT Total Posts: 1 | I have seen a few programs that sort of do this, but none that I really like. In your oppinion, what is the best app avalible for solving equations that are like: F(9)=X^4+5X-2 I really could use something like this, especially for exponents and roots. |

then you should really learn your math. If you have the "x" in f(x) then you just plug it in and that's your "f" which is also your "y".
In this case...
F(9)= X^4+5X-2 F(9)= (9)^4 + 5(9) - 2 F(9)= 6604
I'm guessing you meant an equation where your not given one of the variables, in which case your example fails.
PS @Zachary I would consider calc programs a save, learning is the given. |
