ganonman002 Marine Posted: 28 Jan 2009 16:57 GMT Total Posts: 17 | i have a ti 84+SE and so far downloaded crunchy os, doors os, mirage os, ion and no shell.I can only get some programs to work but most dont, like mario 1.2, and donkey kong. I got ztetris, invalid tangram DE, pongMOS, and phoenix mirage os to work using doorsos(which works the best for me). when i try to run Mario 1.2 (groverizer) 1.0 in crunchyos the screen blinks once and then nothing happens, and when i use doorsos the same thing happens. All other progs give me a syntax error. i have 23319 ram free, and 84040 arc free -thanks btw i now only have doors and cruncy installed right now |

When you try to run Mario and the screen blinks, does it return to the shell? If it does, that usually means you don't have enough RAM to run the program...Which is odd, considering 23K should be plenty. Try archiving everything, since shells will automatically unarchive programs when run.

ganonman002 Marine Posted: 29 Jan 2009 13:32 GMT Total Posts: 17 | When the screen blinks,it returns to the shell. I get an error syntax for every asm game on this page : http://www.ticalc.org/pub/83plus/asm/games/ All of my progs were already archived. I did get SOME ion/mirage os game working like: Altered Phoenix 2.0 Centipede v1.1 Megaman Big City Skater (all from ticalc.org) btw how do i do links |

The games in that section don't require shells. Unarchive them and type "Asm(prgmPRGMNAME" at the home screen.
I dunno why the games wouldn't be working if you have enough RAM. My suggestion would be to stick to one shell (I personally use Mirage) and download games from that section (e.g. http://www.ticalc.org/pub/83plus/asm/games/mirageos/).

If you're using Noshell, what happens when you just run programs from the home screen without the Asm( token?
