If you could tell me what program or where to download it that would help. thank you. |

Posted: 10 Dec 2008 16:16 GMT Total Posts: 375 | It depends on what type of game it is. There are 2 game types, BASIC and ASSEMBLY. If you got it from the BASIC section you don't need any extra program to play the game, just press the PRGM button on your calculator and use the arrow keys to scroll down the list and find your program, then press ENTER to play it.
If you got the game from the ASSEMBLY section then you need an "extra program" known as a Shell. The most common shell is MirageOS, here is a link to it. http://calcg.org/cgi-bin/files.cgi?id=173
Once you get that to your calculator, press the APPS button and run MirageOS, then use the 2nd key to open the MAIN folder and play your game.

I've also tried reseting the ram and i've deleted all my other games in case this one takes up more space. |

Pokemon Purple, from my understanding, is currently a demo only, and is really just for show. If you have any questions about Pokemon Purple, PM tifreak about it. |

Posted: 4 Jan 2009 07:28 GMT Total Posts: 419 | Umm.. to answer the actual question as to why it flashes.. its because of MOS seeing there is insufficient RAM to run, so it returns back to the MOS screen.
As DSP said, it is a demo only, though I really should post the last demo I released to ticalc and calcg.. I really, really should do that..
