Mega Fish Probe Posted: 7 Jun 2007 14:01 GMT Total Posts: 6 | Ok, I have consulted the FAQs, looked through various help pages, and still not luck. I recently purchased a Voyage 200 and I have the TI connect cable and TI connect software. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I cannot get any games to work. I downloaded some games, put them on the calculator (I think) and I don't know how to run them. Also, the manual for this machine is horrible, how do I archive programs?
Thanks. |

If a program uses arguments, put those in the parenthesis, separated by commas. Install PreOS to play games that aren't nostub. There are two ways to archive things: 1. Go to the Catalog, find "Archive", and paste it to the homescreen. Go to var-link ([2nd],[+]) and paste that to the homescreen as well. Remove the parenthesis and press [ENTER]. 2. Go to var-link, find the variable you want to archive, press [F1], go down to option 8 (Archive Variable), and press [ENTER].
Does that answer your questions?

An argument is input to make a function or program run a certain way. Example:Press [<> (green diamond key)], X. This should paste e^( to the homescreen. Now, enter a number of your choosing. This function, e^(, takes one argument and computes the value of e raised to the exponent of your choosing. When I say "paste", I actually mean just pressing [ENTER] to get what you see onto the homescreen.
For PreOS, send preos.v2z and stdlib.v2z.

Well, I got some programs running and then I attempted to run a program called "excite bike" which after I put in the run codes, the Voyage locked up. It is currently in this state and nothing will function. I pulled out the batteries and when I put them back in and the calculator turns on, it just resumes being frozen. I can hit the diamond and 2nd keys and their respective icons show up on the bottom but nothing other then that will happen. |

If that doesn't work, there's a 5th battery to take out. Take the back battery cover off, unscrew the screw that you see, and take the lithium battery out along with all the others. After leaving it out for 5 hours or more without any of the batteries, put everything back in. I've never had any of that trouble with Excitebike, though.
