Posted: 31 May 2007 16:29 GMT Total Posts: 1111 | It's not nearly as easy as it sounds to switch LCDs, especially if you don't tear the ribbon off in the right way. Right now, I'm in the midst of putting a new LCD onto a calc, and it's taking time.

Of course, back in 8th grade, I had no idea how much it was worth. I took it apart and reduced the LCD to powder on the front step of my house using a hammer.

Art class is evil, partly because of that and partly because it oppresses your creative freedoms by forcing you to follow a set path in your art, even if you're only taking the class because it's a prerequisite to a division of art that SHOULD be completely unrelated (e.g. computer-created art).

Your tong is a great conductor. :)
