All I need is as many formulas as I can get.
Categories are: Alg 1 Alg 2 Trig, Pre Cal Calculus Geometry Physics, Chemistry Accounting
Please tell me as many formulas as you know and tell me their names.

However, you'll have to fiddle with it a bit in order to get the step-by-step solver compatible with imaginary numbers (e.g. i). Click Here to download.

@all FYI: this is not just a quadratic solver program thing that your cheap shot programmer could pull off. I am creating a massive formula database that even the most stupid NooB could use. The quadratic formula is just the begging, I will add logs and other fun stuff. This program also takes advantage of the horiz feature, that I have never seen any program use. Once it is out of the beta stages It will be fully customizable meaning that you can add formulas of your own as easy as a few steps.
I am not creating this program to cheat on test. More like for users to be able to remember the formulas on homework or after the class.
So I ask again please tell me formulas so I can include them.

Besides, my quadratic formula solver is obviously superior to those ticalc.org clutter-ups. Mine has pictures. ^_^

But I digress. This should be the last tangent, non-sequitur comment to the topic, meaning that, in order to preserve some semblance of sanity in this topic, DO NOT REPLY TO THIS 3FG!

@3fg: How come you get mad at me when I make words up, or at least you used too. Then again that was before I got spell checker. Heck as far as I know that is a word. I have a vocabulary of a 6th grader.

Posted: 21 Apr 2007 20:55 GMT Total Posts: 714 | My plan mostly is to take the formulas and solve them for a specific variable. The problem with that is that in the upper level classes you may have to solve for X once and another time Y. That takes allot of time and there will be many equations for one formula. Now for adding your own, I'm not exactly sure how. But I am certain it will involve strings. There is some asm lib that allows a bunch of strings. Like xLib does with pics. I just forget what the name is.
As of now I know how I want the program to be set up and I have a basic version of it working great. With the exception of adding your own.
I'm hooping to get a basic version out by finals. That gives me a little over a month. This will be an ongoing project and probably will never be completed, due to the fact there is an unlimited amount of equations and formulas.
