TiEmu 2.0 Final Has Been Released | allynfolksjr |
The popular 68k emulator TiEmu, has been released recently. It is the most broad 68k emulator because it can emulate the new TI-89 Titanium and Voyage 200PLT models, as well as the 89, 92, and 92+. TiEmu has many features, which appeal to both the programmer and the practical user, including: the ability to emulate off of OS upgrades, as well as ROM dumps; file linkport emulation (direct loading of files); emulates HW1, HW2, and HW3; screenshot of LCD and/or calculator in several images format (JPG/PNG/ICO); the letter keys are aliased to produce their respective letters. No need to press the Alpha key, just type (TI89). There are also many debugging features as well, including a graphical debugger (source, memory, breakpoints, traps, vectors, stack, trace, ...). Note that linkport emulation has not been tested with USB cable yet. Kudos to Kevin Kofler and Romain Liéven for their great work! Many Thanks to Anthony Loven for writing this article. |
