I have no idea of how to perform "root" problems.
For instance, what buttons would I need to press to type this into my calculator:
3 root-symbol 7
Also, what buttons would I have to press in order to type this in:
cube root-symbol 5
I just cannot seem to figure out how to do this. Thanks. |

Posted: 5 Apr 2007 08:15 GMT Total Posts: 689 | Oh...I understand what the problem is: it's just like on the advanced mode for the Windows calculator; for roots, you have to do x^1/y, where the root is y√(x).
(By y√(x), I mean that y is the root power, not a factor of an equation.)
