I saw many people having trouble with the site's navigation cow their browsers are either old or non IE/NS comptatible. So, I've decided to fix that issue and added a text/html alternative to the drop down menus. From now on, clicking a menu button will bring up a small page listing all the subsections available. I hope that solves some of the major problems with the site we're currently facing. If you have any questions or suggestions, please do post them. Also, if you see some major flaws or have other problems, please post them too. Thanks.

Programmerman Probe Posted: 18 Mar 2002 12:08 GMT Total Posts: 1 | It's no biggy but your site uses all of my processing power in my computer. I get errors when logging into your site when I have my mp3 or other processor taxing program. I have a pretty decent computer so... 733 mhz, 512 RAM, 32mb video card, soundblaster live, and I use IE6. |

(for some reason they only worked when I uploaded them... don't ask, we don't know)... any suggestions on good usage of simple CGI scripts would be nice. we are going to do a file information submission to make it easier for people to send us their game stuff.

I don't know why you're getting errors, but that's definitely not because of your computer (hardware). My computer is about the same (P3-800, 384 RAM, 32 meg GF2:GTS, SB 64v and IE 6) as yours and I have tons of stuff running (Dreamveawer, Photoshop, etc.) and there are no problems with visiting the site. This weirdness can happedn because of some misconfiguration or because your HD is trashed and needs defragmentation. I'm not sure if I can help you solving this problem, but if you can explain me a bit more about what happens (and perhaps give me a screenshot) I might be able to figure something out. Thanks.
