Total Posts: 623 | I've noticed that the files under "Popular Files" rarely changes, if ever. What's the point of having them up there?

Total Posts: 1005 | Well, that might be because those files are the top five downloads on the site. There's a lot of files that have thousands of downloads to go before they reach this level. |

Since many of the files on the site have thousands of downloads to go until they're even up there, and by that time those programs will have even more, there's no point in having them up there since they'll stay up there. Unless the admins have some strange reason for doing so...

Total Posts: 1676 | we might do the weekly thing. that would require some extra fields in the database which is kind of hard to do. we might also do it by "DL/Day"... or maybe even "DL/Day this week"... not sure though... all of those would require some work

Total Posts: 2486 | can't disagree on that one. weeks popular files would be a lot more fair to everyone. not just all time popular files. this will also make side menu look more different and make people want to make things that would be more popular and get onto the pop list. i wouldn't go with DL/DAY but with just plain dls for a current week. yes, some work is required but what did you think? lol, i know B loves work.
