would anybody be interested in being hosted by calcgames.org?

we could have 3 levels of hosting:

1 would be like http://www.calcgames.org/~site_name/
which would be free and you'd get like 5 MB disk space and 200 MB bandwidth per month

1 would be http://site_name.calcgames.org/
which would be like $30 per YEAR and you'd get like 10 MB disk space and 500 MB bandwidth per month

1 would be your own domain - $50 per YEAR and you'd get 20 MB disk space and 1 GB bandwidth per month...

we can host as many of the first ones as we want, but we only have 7 name based sites available - so minus calcgames.org and projects.calcgames.org we can only host 5 of the other 2... but i have a feeling we won't get that many people requesting hosting...

anyone interested?

just found out we will NOT be doing the first one for security reasons (someone would be able to access the main calcgames.org site via FTP)....

well... we COULD do it, but we wouldn't allow them to have FTP.. they'd have to send us their site in a zip file every time they wanted to update it

what about our reseller accounts B? aren't those accounts are stored below CG's files?

btw, the idea with zips sounds kinda ridiculous... ;/

any subdomains aren't below CG files at all. they're to the side. if we were to make subdomain.calcgames.org - you would not be able to access the main calcgames.org site at all

uhm...i don't think it got any use at all. still, we're limited on subs so this doesn't sound like an idea that will actually work.

we can have 6 - there's no way more than 6 people will want to be hosted by us, and if they do, that's $180 - we can upgrade.

The logout button in the navigation frame doesn't work. I've tried on different computers

At the CC I'm going to. With the way security appears on here cookies might be disabled.
