I'm the type of person that wants to say, "Hah! I've got more posts than you!" So, would it be possible to have it made so a user could see where they rank for number of posts compared to the rest of the users, kinda like dl's? I think that would be sveet :D
Now granted, site admin would kinda be in the top five :), but for us humble users, there would be some competition (*I'd win*)

zinearety: 14... he's never really been an admin... he's been with us since the beginning and i really only keep him on the admin list as a joke... i talk to him quite often online, but he doesn't do anything with calculators anymore (besides using them for math)

Total Posts: 2486 | We already had this idea presented but I don't really want to have any post rankings to avoid junk posts. Its easy to know who's going to be in top five or ten so it all kinda makes little sense to spend time implementing. Although if requested I may add a feature to show post counts near avatar or something of that sort. Naming based on number of posts will not be implemented for the same reason as rankings. As much as posts are appreciated I don't want people to post just to increase their number/ranking. Though, if this feature is highly requested and you wish to spend time to tell me why you think it would be cool, I or B may reconsider and implement it (its faily easy to implement such a feature).

Total Posts: 2486 | That's exactly the thing I'm talking about dark. Why do you care how many posts someone has? I rarely look at my posts or anyone else's... At the moment we'll work on optimizing our file service scripts as they take up quite a bit of resources. Once we're done, we may add the post count thing. I'm also considering another way for post counts, that is to allow special code in sig to let one display their post count there. We'll see how it goes though.
