One thing I've already done is take off the "active users" part of the stats on the teemz home page. (that took about half a second to generate each time).
One of the things I might do is cache pages, that way they aren't generated every time they are accessed but rather every time they are changed (the list pages (like if you went to the games tab and clicked TI-89) take about a second to generate, but that's dumb cause they can only be updated whenever a file is added or renamed).

i enabled caching on the list-views. it should work... if it gives you any troubles, let me know. by the way, if you highlight under everything it gives you the amount of time (in seconds) that it took to generate that page... if it's negative, add 1 to it. most of the list pages should be generated in less than 0.1 seconds (from what i've seen they are almost always .085 after they have been cached... except for the REALLY long ones... for some reason if you do a list view for calc=type=cat= (all programs) it takes quite a bit of time...

again, tell me if you see any problems.
