that was probably the strangest thing i have ever seen before in my life...

files.cgi was throwing 500 errors just now, i have no idea how long it's been doing that, the last modified date was about a week ago, so i had no idea what the problem could be... i looked at the line number of the error, and this is what it looked like:

platand = "All ";

which should have read:

$platand = "All ";

there were actually two of those, but anyway, that was a section of the code that i added a month ago... files.cgi should have never successfully compiled with that line in there... but for some reason it had been working until this morning...

did anyone notice about how long it wasn't working?
