There is a real problem... your irc chatroom is pretty much deserted... so I, in my calc programming need, wandered to the #tcpa chatroom... since this I have been basically harassed by Andy(something) which if I'm correct is a prime canadate on #calcgames... but he admits not going here! please respect your members. rid him or rid the chatroom... (note this isn't meant to sound mean or anything.)

Uhm, I thought that Andy is a bot... Please email or PM me regarding what exactly has happened and what exactly harassment consisted of. Thanks.

AndySoft is a respected member of the calculator community. He will get irritated, however, if becuase of your own problems, you don't take his advice to doing something. If you're refering to the incident I think you are, it's your fault for blaming him, not his. And he is a Bot Owner, BTW.

No it's not that... That was all me.
But he is currently ignoring anyone from "chat.efnet.net" so any newbies won't get alot of help, because most of the time he is the only active one on #calcgames

Well, you'll find that if you don't use a dedicated IRC client that people will ignore hostmasks like *!*chat.efnet.net. This is because it has been a general rule that the only people who use that for any period of time are not really dedicated enough to IRC to get a proper client. And usually irritating people use that, and it is not the problem of the channel on what people choose to block. That is a personal choice.

Oh jeez, who cares whether or not someone is dedicated to IRC? Seriously, many people use it just because they need it for something or like in our case to get help. So what if they're not dedicated, does that mean they shouldn't be there or get help? That really smells like those folks who start console and video card wars...not very smart and hostile to others. And as with irritating people using that, that's somewhat like email spam, you can't just block all emails you know. Just my two cents guys...

Umm D, what does this have to do with Mac? I don't hate them, I just don't like them. I wouldn't buy one, put it that way. Neither would I buy a pc, I'd build a custom one as its the only way to get what I want and quality I need... Besides, I wouldn't be able to do much gaming on a Mac anyway and most software I use is for pc. I could have used VPC on a Mac but that would degrade peformance of the progs. Let's not really get into this again D :).

I find asking a really n00bish question in a TI related IRC followed by questions ascending in difficulty are more likely to have replies than just asking a hard question where they say: "google it".

Both of my computers are custom made (by me). Also, it's impossible to make a custom mac, because they don't sell any parts for them...
