I decided that in the spirit of the color scheme and the new site design, I decided to create my own rendition of calcgames.org. you can check it out at http://www.morrise.com/calcgames/. Tell me what you think.-bmorrise

i like it.... but it's such a drastic change...

i like it the way it is now.... but... i'm open for change..in design rather than color..

the font has this weird sort of look... i'm not sure if i like it or don't.... i can't make up my mind

Well, if we were to come up with a good skinning framework then we would be able to use current layout as well. Though, the new skin system is all table/color based and only used pictured for logo and poll so the current skin won't work, only the colors will be usable. I honestly do favor frames based interface as its much nicer to navigate and you can have various things in different frames depending on one's browsing habits. Though, it seems that days of frames are vanishing and its time to move to something else. This design is getting old anyway and we need something fresh or at least an option for users to choose a preferred style, that'd be really cool.

As with your color scheme bmorrise, nice job. I don't really think colors like these will work out well and they look way too similar to those of calcware.org but nonetheless, good job on your effort. Overall, it would be fun to have a bunch of various themes for the new site. :)

I think it looks too corporate, but in all respects, it's an excellent design. You should probably go into some sort of web design business, if you can do this.

I also built the site www.eliteti.com. It's more colorful than my calcgames design. The best part about this is that I'm colorblind.

I can't differentiate some shades of green-brown, brown-red, and blue-purple. I have had so many times where I've said something like, "That is a nice looking brown sweater," and had the response, "It's green."

I had a friend who was exactly like that in grade school. I played croquet with nim once, and I was green and he brown and he would always try to hit my balls instead of his.

BTW, if you want that little signature to appear at the bottom of every post, go to the top of the page, click edit profile, and type it into the text box where it says signature.

I did not need that mental picture. ;)

I knew someone would say something about that :D . I tried not to, but I couldn't think of any other way to phrase it.
