Please make sure to not encourage users to click on ads, users should elect whether they want to click on some ad content that interests them and we should in no way encourage that. This is important to keep in mind since doing so will violate Google's ad polies and will lead to termination of our account which is critical to our site's operation. I'm not going to point any finger, just asking those who display our ads to check their pages and make sure they're free of any ad clicking encouragements, we don't encourage users to click on ads on main site so you shouldn't either.
If you do encourage visitors to click on ads, please take it off and just leave ads on their own. I hope this matter is taken seriously and thanks for your support if you display our ads. I appreciate everyone's time looking into this to make sure we can stay alive.
Thanks.

That even includes coloring, arrows and such even if it doesn't verbally ask people to click. Generally speaking banners need to be just seen by users w/t any implied suggestions or pointers from the site pointing at them. They made it rather clear in email to me so let's make sure we're all clear on that in the future.
Thanks for quick responce btw and other hosted sites who display our banners, please take a note of that as well.

As with searchbox advertising, I don't think there's anything wrong with it since Google in fact wants people to search thru them. Have a look at Google policy to make sure we're all good: https://www.google.com/adsense/policies

We need to fix that. |
