Edit | No, this isn't fake... it's true. Some freakin' hacker went and destroyed my forum. His account linked to an "underground" site where there are apparently a lot of security loopholes that are shared. Right now, I'm really depressed, but I feel the utter need to warn you to ban the IP 203.160.1.* as soon as you can.
I have no idea what I'm going to do... i believe that he was only able to touch the message board, as all of his hacking took place there. The main site appears to be untouched, although there's still a lot of reconstruction to take place. |

Here's the deal.
We had a backup, but it was worthless. The board would be extremely buggy if we tried to back it up. So we're taking the opportunity to make a board out of IPB 2.0, which should be far more secure. In the meantime, I'd like to suggest that people go to my personal website if you feel like keeping track of events.

Edit | I can assure you that the attack was random... I google searched for the hacker's alleged name, and it seems he has struck random message boards all over the place. Also, I'm having a few of my friends help me out with the busy-work stuff on the site, and once we get the skin working, the board will be back up.
This stuff is NOT fun the 3rd time around. |
