Thats hilarious! 'LOL'ing I would probably use it for scrap, nah scrap is too good for it. Its amazing how far computers have come just in the last decade.

Hey, if you want to talk on the Raz forums feel free. Its good to just do things while it is under developement and makes things less boring.

It's worthless now. The battery died on it 2 years ago and there's no way I'm spending $100 online to buy a new one. So I can't even use it for DOS games on the go. Using a DOS program, I've gotten DiVX movies to run off of it. :) And because it only has a PC Speaker, I found a driver to play wav files on it. Thats right - I even have linkin park on it. But since it has a dead battery, it was pretty much just for the fun of it.
Well, I suppose I could visit Raz. Though I'm not all that good at programming. The most difficult things I programed were tic tac toe, and a simple dice game.

THe majority of programming I've done is in TI-BASIC. I'm in there for the graphics needs of the site. I have had some minor experience with C++ and OpenGL but I've forgotten most of that now.

I've seen that on other laptops I've used. Its a pretty cool feature. Alls you nee to do is save up about 2Gs so you can buy Apple's 23" HD Cinema Display. A whopping 1920x1200! Do you have any "Special" software?

Hey, how's Raz.com comming along.

i'd rather go with a 2048x1400 or whatever it is.... my video card apparently supports that, but of course my LCD is "only" 1600x1200...

haven't worked on raz myself, and trevor is on backpacking trip at philmont which i would have gone on but i'd rather go to ASB camp (starts tomorrow, get back friday).. i'm still getting settled into this computer, so don't expect much work for a while..... i just installed TIGCC yesterday :)

Ah! This explains why the site looks dead! Have fun w/ ASB. Are you a senior now? Its been too long since I've heard of your "educational status"

When I was working on Link View (soon to continue working on it once I finish some other things) my source code took about 30 seconds to compile. On our desktop it took just under 2 seconds at its current state. I know that my file size is nothing compared to yours but you should theoretically do things faster if you got a speed increase over you previous system.

well, everything has taken less than 1 second to compile (AND compress) since we got our last desktop (1.8 GHz)..... now it's even faster... i'm a senior

So if I remember correctly Z is also in the same age bracket which makes us all the same age given what year of high school we're in. I'm sorry you have to put up with another year of the same boring stuff, of course most of my friends I asked said although they don't like the classes and teachers at school, they still would not graduate a year early if they were given a chance. College is soooo much better than high school. Anyway, have fun at your ASB thing.

"College is soooo much better than high school"
Hell yes. Can't wait for College. Whoever thought of the phrase (on High School): These are the four best years of your life.
If that were true, I'd jump off a building right now lol.

Billy: If I knew that high school was going to be the best part of life I would say good bye to life. Who knows both of us could have had a party together LOL

B: Thanks. I'll probably ask this again in about 6 or more months if I forget.

PS- Hey B, I found out how to give just about anything a molten metal look in Photoshop Elements. If this is what you were looking for when you guys were searching for logos for the store I'll gladly e-mail or post the "recipie"

Nice LCD! I'm not going to get my 18" LCD for some time, I can't wait for 1600x1200 res. :)
Btw, that apple cinema display, although looking very sweet costs waay over 2G's. I'm not sure if its worth all that money. I like its resolution tho.

To B and D: I'm 19 and graduated last summer. (hey, we'll call you D now Digital!)

I'm supprised you haven't been calling me that consitantly already. You have in the past though, but hey, I really don't care as long as I know your talking to me =). The cinema display price has dropped to 2 grand w/o tax, but only 1800 with the educational discount (If your a student you can get it this price)! Man I love being a student. Also, later on when I have more money I am going to get the Adobe Design Collection. Here is why, it is $1199 (a $2156 value normally, now a $2505 value) and I can legally get a brand new copy for $375! That is only 14.97% the original cost! Its a steal to say the least! Software is the most discounted item when it comes to educational discounts.

Yeah, I agree about software. Btw, I like that "only" when you say $1800!
Student software discounts are sure nice, but I'm not sure if you could get this discount on Pro versions of products. Can you btw?

Z: The software I'm talking about is pro! Thats is the great thing about it. When I get the design collection I am purchasing the full un-cut versions of the software! Photoshop and Illustrater, full versions for a mear quarter of the price just because your a student. Sorry B, your not in college so you can't buy it at this price but Z and I can.

S: Junior year is heck and fully loaded with crap. I'm exagerating some but if you talk to some of my freinds they will agree that is the way it was, for me at least. College is hard and busy but everything is toned down because you schedual is more or less customised by yourself so you can work around life, not life working around school. Plus you usually know what is comming because the teachers give out syllabi. Looks like a decent notbook btw.

Edit: W00T, I got an A in my "Logic in Practice" class. A 92 percent. It should have been about 98 or higher but I decided to slack off most of the time. Wish me luck because I have to go take my English final in about 15 minutes and I've only had about 4 hours of sleep. Try writing an essay whe your this tired.
