I have always loved reading, becuase T.V and computers, and calculators, all, eventually, become boring. But, with reading, you can always start new books and new stories. I understand that, you have to take breaks from reading, but to me, there is nothing more satisfying than finshing a good book! Heres my top ten favorites:

1. Gone with the Wind
2. The Grapes of Wrath
3. Rebecca
4. To Kill a Mockingbird
5. Tom Sawyer
6. Go Ask Alice (More people should be reading this.)
7. Huck Finn
8. 1984
9. Shang gri lah
10. Timeline

Now . . .alot of these books . . .seem girly, or stupid. But, lot of them are classics . . .thats why I had to read them in the first place. But, I think Classics should be read more often.

Other good books imo:
Several of Isaac Asimov's science fiction (Foundation series, etc)
Catcher in the Rye
Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

Oh yeah! I LOVED I robot, and the Metal Dome, or whatever it was called, the 2nd one in the series of I, Robot.

I also have to replace Huck Finn with Les Miserable, I just remebered that one! Man, I love books!

Favorite books: anything by Asimov, Simmons, Clarke, Heinlein, as well as Ender's Game, of course.

Tom Clancy books are the best. And anything World War II...especially naval history.

Yeah, I loved Asimov's books. Have anyone read the Roadside Picnic book (about Chernobol and its Zone)? It was pretty cool.

Ender's game trilogy is good. I did like JRR Tolkien's Lord of the Rings (I did read them before the movies!). A lot of books I read are mediocre. Good, but nothing stand out.

I heard xenocide and speaker of the dead weren't that good. I never read them though, but I heard they're very different from Ender's game (which is good, but not unique to be a classic). Ender's Shadow and Shadow of Hegemony were pretty good too, i hope that card completes the story of the conquest of earth he began in hegemony though.

I read all of the enders series, and the second book in the oriognal ender series isn't bad (I think it's speaker of the dead). But the third book in the ender series sucks, i think it's xenocide.

Yeah, SfTD is good, but it just goes downhill from there. I've read all of Card's SF, but I havem't read any of his fantasy.
