I noticed that this type of thread is kind of floating around in some forums and I'd like to test its popularity here. This particular game thread is a triva/question one. the rules are that you answer the trivia question correctly and then post a new question for someone else to answer. Keep in mind that you have to answer correctly. And of course, I'll start.

Q:
In which direction will helium filled baloons move when a UPS truck, one in which the balloons don't touch the sides, makes a left turn and is decelerating.

Ahh, interesting one...hmm...
I'd say the baloons will move towards the front passenger side of the truck. I'm not too sure if this is correct though, because helium filled baloons are really light.

are they attached to the truck? and where are they?

oh i see they're probably inside of the truck.

i'm guessing they'd go left and backwards, with the truck, since air is more dense and would want to go forward and to the right...

I'd say they'd keep moving in the same direction until they were acted upon by another force. I'm not too sure if I'm correct though, so I really can't post a new question...

Deleted do to OT content, redundancy, and atempted highjacking. You can create your own for that games calcfreak. I frequently visit a forum where thread highjacking is looked down on very much.
