I don't.

BTw, you messed up your signature D. It should be more like this:

Apple : PC ; Ford : Porsche :)

Which is what the "edit" button is for, so that they don't stay short.

HAL is the robot from Arthur Clarke's 2001: A Space Odyssey. It tries to kill Dave for some reason, I watched the movie, but it was so inane, I didn't really get much out of it, I think i stopped partway through.

It is HAL, no doubt about it...
I think 2001 is a boring movie, but HAL's cool.

I'm sorry, Dave. I just can't allow that, Dave.

HAL SHOULD talk in 3rd person. That would be funny. HAL doesn't like this. HAL's getting angry.

By the way JcCorp, I did try to open a locked door the other day, and the whole was busted in half by my awesome power...
...Except it was made of cardboard. heh.

ummm.... right. HAL in 3rd person... it would make him sound inferior, when he is superior. look at me, i think im smart!
BTW, my signature is a direct quote from me, since in school, i will try to open doors even when they are locked.

If you think the ending or any part of 2001 Space Odessy (sp?) then you have a shallow mind. I was young when I watched it so I need to find some time to watch it agian.

Who ever needs to convince their mother or father that you to take time off can use me as an example of what happens. Add in "is boring" after "(sp?)"

I went back and read the book to figure out what was going on. The guy turned into a god like thing and started to be the protector of the world or something.

Sorry to jump into the discussion late, but...

So the current topic is 2001: A Space Odyssey (or something similar)? I remember someone mentioning that the movie wasn't a huge hit because it was more realistic than most space shows of the time. It was totally silent whenever they showed scenes in space, I think. Someone correct on that, I need to search out the movie...

That's correct, there is no sound in space in the movie.

Thank you, I knew it was spelled wrong. It's a good song, but a little hackneyed. Danube is a river in Germany.
