BTw, you messed up your signature D. It should be more like this:

spiral Wraith Posted: 7 Apr 2004 17:33 GMT Total Posts: 958 | HAL is the robot from Arthur Clarke's 2001: A Space Odyssey. It tries to kill Dave for some reason, I watched the movie, but it was so inane, I didn't really get much out of it, I think i stopped partway through. |

Evil Kirby Dragoon Posted: 7 Jul 2004 13:27 GMT Total Posts: 55 | I'm sorry, Dave. I just can't allow that, Dave.
HAL SHOULD talk in 3rd person. That would be funny. HAL doesn't like this. HAL's getting angry.
By the way JcCorp, I did try to open a locked door the other day, and the whole was busted in half by my awesome power... ...Except it was made of cardboard. heh. |
JcCorp Probe Posted: 8 Jul 2004 04:13 GMT Total Posts: Edit | ummm.... right. HAL in 3rd person... it would make him sound inferior, when he is superior. look at me, i think im smart! BTW, my signature is a direct quote from me, since in school, i will try to open doors even when they are locked. |

JcCorp Probe Posted: 9 Jul 2004 03:57 GMT Total Posts: Edit | where was the verb in that first sentence? lol, i didn't understand that at all |

So the current topic is 2001: A Space Odyssey (or something similar)? I remember someone mentioning that the movie wasn't a huge hit because it was more realistic than most space shows of the time. It was totally silent whenever they showed scenes in space, I think. Someone correct on that, I need to search out the movie...
