Total Posts: 428 | ok. so my friend wants to make a movie.we r on a no budget and no time left crisis. we are looking 4 some good fx we can do from practically nothing. if any of u have any sugestions or good sites, that's great.
oh and the only thing we have r the people, 1 week, windows movie maker,

Total Posts: 958 | you can make cool transitions/speed up/slow down/credits. And that's about it. Or you can rip apart the movie and edit the frames by hand. |

Total Posts: 2486 | There's a great deal of software that can be used for SFX but it's usually pretty expensive for those of us who buy it. Adobe Premiere is a pretty good tool for that purpose. Though, you may want to learn how to do 3D and various 3D FX stuff too, could also help making fake props for the movie but would require a good prog, some nice ones that support video animationg and stuff would be 3DS Max, Bryce, Rhino and others. They also cost lots of money and take a while to learn. Looking at the timeframe and software you have it'd gonna be pretty damn hard to do. Of course, it all depends on what you want to have in your movie... Post here, maybe some of us will come up with good ideas.

Total Posts: 1892 | A "B" movie is one that is low budget and usually have corny plots and really bad special effects. Most of these are considered comedies, even though they were not intended to be. |
