Although I spend quite some time around here, I probably wouldn't really qualify as being a nerd but I guess there's at least some tiny bit or nerdiness in all of us :). I and B have founded this site so even though I personally don't have any more time to play games I still stick around TI community and maintain/improve CG as time allowes.

I play football and tennis on my school teams and enjoy a bit of soccer, baseball, and basketball sometimes as well. As far as music goes (another huge category of life), I love classic rock and will listen to anything, but I have no talent whatsoever in thee creating department (my friends try and teach me guitar, but i'm just too dang stoopid :) ). But that's just me, I'm sure others have other interests and talents. |
JcCorp Probe Posted: 23 Apr 2005 12:59 GMT Total Posts: Edit | Like Z said, there's a little bit of nerdiness in all of us. Though, nerds are smart, so I don't qualify as much of one. I'm more of a geek. Almost a band geek, but I'm not good at band at all. I'm a lousy trumpet player, a beginning guitar player, a mediocre euphonium (baritone, mini-tuba) player, and decent mellophone player. As for sports, I like water sports, such as kayaking and swimming, although I'd dearly like to go tubing. I also do a lot of writing now, and since they are mostly humorous (slapstick mostly, also self-demeaning) and love stories ( <_< don't look at me like that...) and not science fiction or fantasy, I guess that means I'm not too nerdy.

Jonny23451 Ultralisk Posted: 24 Apr 2005 15:09 GMT Total Posts: 214 | mmmm...well I love my calc on the side, but I play lacrosse, mountain bike, nd sometimes baseball with my friends...but then when i'm really bored and when i'm doing nothing, I go online and do this stuff...escpecially during winter. During the summer i'm out biking most of the time. Oh ya I also play piano...As far as music goes, that's the only instrument I play, and most music I listen to is Rock, and Rap. Just those two. Linkin Park and any rap that is good...well in my case good. Lil Jon, Petey Pablo, lol. Any good beats, I love. Nothing like Usher...or R&B.
Edit: I don't think I'm a nerd...like JC sed, nerds are smart and i'm getting a C in Chem and Math, sooo...yea. 1 or 2 A's, mostly B's...Jeez Spiral, 5 AP courses????

JcCorp Probe Posted: 24 Apr 2005 15:46 GMT Total Posts: Edit | Rap is just not good. How can you like rap AND rock? That's weird. |
Jonny23451 Ultralisk Posted: 24 Apr 2005 16:07 GMT Total Posts: 214 | I liked Rap first, like I heard this song by Lil Jon, Get Low at the homecoming dance, and that's wut got me into rap. I was obssessed with it. Then I got into Linkin Park, which is a lil bit of both, and now I like all bands and rap groups. Well a lot. not all. For all you Chicagoans out there, B96, Kiss FM and The Mix are the stations I listen to the most. |

I mean yes, sure, I'm taking advanced history and math classes, and I do work at a calculator site, and I do web development and all that, you certainly have reason to call me one. But you wouldn't know in real life unless I told you.
And yeah, I like Rock, Rap, and Techno, so blah to you. Speaking of radio stations, anyone in Puget Sound area would know the superiority of 104.9 |

alex10819 Wraith Posted: 25 Apr 2005 14:53 GMT Total Posts: 507 | hmm... i dunno... im a strange mix of nerd and...umm... anarchy... our group calls ourselves the "lower anarchists" because as we say, "our internet is too slow to download the cookbook" |
