I could not get IPB 2.0 to work right for some reason (which is odd, considering I've run it on my site in the past), so I simply opted for IPB v1.3Final instead. I then added two skins (one of which makes the forum look IDENTICAL to IPB v2.0).
Comments and/or suggestions are appreciated. Thanks. :)

stephendonnelly88 Dragoon Posted: 18 Dec 2005 19:02 GMT Total Posts: 97 | No, this thread is intended for suggestions. I just finished doing a massive overhaul that has taken me several weeks. Besides, if you did not notice, I "advertised" for calcgames.org in the side-bar menu of my site's homepage. ;-)
And my site has no adds, whatsoever. I could put up adds if I wanted to, but so far I've opted not to.
In phase two, I hope to actually "merge" the forum portion with the portal, itself (integrating the forum right into the portal). I don't know how easy this going to be though. And if I don't find a friend to help me, I expect it to take me a long time to do before it is useable and free of bugs. :) |
