Well, read the news article. Knowing that something like this is going on makes me feel a little better. I still don't know why USA lets these bastards do things their way and not complain about monopoly which Apple basically has over the fricking mp3 player market and now online music downloads with their not-so-great players (there are other players that have more features and cost less, but I'll stop here since I just wanted to announce the news and not start a flame war). Anyway. go here to read the article on FoxNews: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,188270,00.html

Edit
Heh, cool. <_< I have an iRiver that works great, and my bro has a Creative Zen Micro that's superb. So I'm fine seeing Apple go down over there. I hope it happens over here, too, because I'm sick of the iPod commercials.

Nice! I hate how apple tries to "protect" their music (bought off itunes) so that only limited computers can have them. Greedy little SOB's.

You can convert those to mp3s almost instantly.

Me neither spiral, just thought I'd break the news.

TFG, you can but why do it when you shouldn't have to? Besides, converting already lossy files into another lossy file is not good, not to mention already poor sounding songs you get from most online music sellers, especially iTunes store (and that not to point fingers, merely an observation of my friend who buys stuff there. I still stick with plain 'ol CD's and rip on my own to get far better sound quality).

No offense, but most of you people own mp3 players that do not directly compete with apple's higher-priced ipods. You guys don't have ipod. Ipods are intended to be higher-end, pricy, but prestigious cutting-edge mp3 player.

And what is so bad about having an American corporation doing well in today's economy.

And any protected music can be legally converted to any format using software called "JHymn" (google it for more info).

I don't think that you can legally remove DRM from music. or maybe it is just illegal to tell people how to do it.

Edit by L: checked html button.
Edit by J: it was checked then I decided to edit and it unchecked. when I edit now it removes the <br>'s. stupid forum

If blahblah wasn't so cool, I might have to disagree. But he is, so I therefore must totally agree.
