Total Posts: 714 | I have a netscape mail acoount and i want to accsess it threw microsoft officethere is only on problem. I can not find the incomming POP3 adress or the outgoing SMTP adress. Any help would be nice.

Total Posts: 2486 | Zachary, only way to know the pop3/smtp urls is to directly contact the ISP. Usually most would say it on their website or support/faq page but those that do not, need to be contacted by phone for these, that is of course considering that they support it. I noticed that a fair amount of ISP's are switching to web-only mail interfaces, to minimize the running costs I take it so I hope it's not the case with you. Anyway, I'd suggest you call them up or email their support and ask about these url's. If they support email reading via pop3/smtp then they should be able to provide you with proper url's. Hope this helps.

Total Posts: 714 | ok new problem. I relized that netscape doesn't support POP3 or IMAP acsses. but my aim account does. I have the IMAP adress and that works great. Its the outgoing SMTP adress. I connect threw IUPUI's free dial up. Its slower than a slug coverd in salt but it gets the job done. I got a SMTP adress of one of there sites but ever time i try to send an email using the adrees an err message comes up saying my reqest has been dennied. Not the usual can not find server err. I have it set up where it loogs into the SMTP adress as my mom and into the IMAP adress as me. as i stated before i can reccive mail i just cant send it. so I know its something to do with the SMTP adress.
Any help would be nice
