I'm new to calculators, just bought a Ti-83+ Silver Edition for my chemistry class, and wanted to put in FF. I tried, and ran out of memory. I keep going over the readme text, but it keeps happening. Could someone put a step by step on here or something? =/

yeah, you need to archive everything. to do so, press [2nd]+[+] to go to the memory manager. then, press [2], [1] and then press [Enter] on all files that do not have an '*' next to them. after you do so, just run the FF program. this game requires heck of a lot of free RAM, so archive as many files as you can. hope this helps.

ahh, that's why it's split up into parts. you can only have up to 10 pics at the same time, so that means you can only have one part of the game installed on your calc. however, you may group each game part into a .8xg group file using TI-Graph Link software and just ungroup each part on your calc as you progress thru the game. also, for more info, please DO read the readme.txt attached with the game. it has lots of helpful stuff and answers your questions.

erm...that's just coz most of them are crap. but really, there are few good ones. didn't you like Drug Wars? i used to play in my math class. haha. sure, mario or any graphical game might not come out in Basic, but there sure are some worthy games out there.

what do you mean by that? it can't download files from the net? can't unzip files? ti-graphlink doesn't send them to your calculator? could you please tell me a bit more as of where your problem originates. tks.

I played drugwars like once or twice, i tought it was a stupid pointless game that was likely to get u in trouble, and that anybody with an hour of time to waste could easily make. the only amusing thing about the game was goign and buying drugs for massive sums of negative money. (i'd get drugs, and they'd pay me) which some silly authors forgot to check for.

lol! i don't get why people get some obscessed about some games that have to do something with drugs. come on, they're just game afterall. anyways, drugwars was alright for a basic game. yeah, even thinking of real 3D Doom (like 'some' authors say) made in basic is already gay...
