well, you can archive them. go to press 2nd + [mem], and browse around until you get to the word 'archive' somewhere, and press enter on each file... if it's got a * next to it it's archived.

this is one way, other way is to use the "send files to archive" button in TI-Grpahlink instead of "send files" you probably used. this way you won't have to archive each program you send. but to archive/unarchive programs you'd follow the steps Barrett mentioned above.

Chrono Fantasy looks like a great game. I downloaded everything that it said and worked fine but the text (or something else, can't really tell) was not displayed right. Can someone who has the game working correctly e-mail me a ZIP of EVERY file needed to run it properly. my calc is AMS 2.05 HW1 (I've had it for 4 or 5 yrs). Thanks!
PS- I'm under the contacts list.

i dunno maybe it's a HW1 problem. that version we got here on CG worked fine on my calc (2.5 HW2). there were quite a lot of problems in that version of the game (it still kicks arse!). hopefully T3 will ever get to release an update. also, try it on VTI see if it has the same problem (email me for a HW2 rom).

I tested it on VTI since it does not take as long. Since it runs as HW2 I know there was a files or two that was not the right version. I would accept the rom but I do not know of a way to get the files from VTI to my 89. This is caused by VTI not having the USB linking capabilities. My old serial got crimpped so it doesn't work any more, what do you suggest I do?

nah, i doubt rom would help. i thought it might help you find the problem. but it looks like you've already found it. you can try to build a $5 serial link and you WTran8X or something like that. actually, that homemade link is very easy to make. you just go to RadioShack and get like 5 things and there you go. btw, why do you think transferring files from VTI onto you calc would fix the problem?

CF worked fairly well for me, there were a coupel random crashes onec in a while that got on my nerves, but that's it. I don't erally understand what you mean by the text is messed up. Don't u just install cinstall, run it, and the send each file as it tells you to? make sure to use all the libs/preos in the zip, dunno besides that.

Z: There is a misunderstanding here. I know that transfering files from VTI to 89 won't fix any problems but if you have a rom or the entire set of proper files (zipped already) I could them transfer them to my 89. Navigation on T3's website is a little confusing and since there are so many versions of teh same files in their zips Its hard to tell which on I nedd even from the readme.
spiral: I don't think the problem is with CF but Preos. I don't think I have the right file versions. I did every thing that cinstall told me to do.

What am I doing wrong. Whatever it is I've done it more than once.

yeah, if you have wrong file versions the game shouldn't run at all. that might be a HW1 problem because the game ran just fine on HW2.

Z, can you do me a favor? E-mail me all the files I need in a zip. Or anyone else out there. For those who don't know I'm Michael O'Brien under the contacts list.
