ThePsychoKid18 Probe Posted: 7 May 2003 13:23 GMT Total Posts: 11 | I have hed my TI 83+ SE for some time now, and have never had a problem, until now. I was using it and the ram suddenly deleted. I have changed the batteries, changed the backup battery, and nothing works. It still screws up. I am thinking of writing TI and demanding a new one, but i would rather fix it myself. Any help you can suggest would be great. Thanks. |

ThePsychoKid18 Probe Posted: 8 May 2003 12:13 GMT Total Posts: 11 | I have tried pulling out batteries and all that. My geometry teacher even suggested taking all the batteries and the backup out for about a hour, but that still didnt work |

spiral Wraith Posted: 16 May 2003 19:47 GMT Total Posts: 958 | Hmm...i know in the past when i've had low batteries it won't let me write to flash.
Try this, press ON+Del, and ON+Clear, if it works u'll get like a screen to load os, or some weird stuff, but when my calculator has been too screwed up to work b4 it has worked. |
ThePsychoKid18 Probe Posted: 18 May 2003 11:15 GMT Total Posts: 11 | Yeah, i emailed TI. The sent back and told me to send my calc in. They are going to replace it in warranty. So i get a brand new calc. But im going to get a Voyage 200 soon. Sucks that you cant use them on the SATs.
