MirageOS is a shell for a TI-83+/SE. A shell is basically a program that lets you bypass software limitations of your calc and it also provides are user interface for easier access of your files.

When you archive your files, your calc will not let you run them. You can only run files from RAM. What MirageOS lets you do for instance, is to run files from archive. There are also many other useful things such as file mangement and various files info.

MirageOS is an application which needs to be specially installed onto your calc. I don't think it comes preinstalled on your calc but you can download it from our Programs section and intall it via TI-Conect or TI Graph Link.

It is what it is. Mario uses external level files and you just forgot to load them onto your calc. Just unzip the levels from the Mario distribution and send them to your calc. Also, some games can't use archived levels and that may also be your case. If you did load the levels along with the game, you may need to unarchive them in order for the game to see them.

Send the .8xk file to your calc via USB cable/TI-Connect/etc. (it's a flash app, it has a calc with a lightning bolt beside it).

For those of you who haven't seen it (and no one has since no one has replied yet), I have a complete formula list for my MathSci program, and I could use some input before I continue.
