I got Msn Ti-Messeger, but NO One is EVER "online". Is the game broken?

I've never even heard of such a thing...Just stick to regular MSN, AIM or IRC coz that's where everyone will probably be.

I'm guessing with that, you're supposed to hook it up with another calculator and then talk between the two. Could be mistaken, because I didn't go look at it, but that's my guess.

Okay, I just checked it out. Its just a link chat. You need to connect to your buddy via a calc2calc link to chat...which is pretty useless as it is. Only use would be if you had an IR link or something like that where you can be far from the other guy...

Yeah, I bet thats it, a link chat, I mean really, how could you actually have MSN Messeger on your calc. Oh, and do you think that maybe you'd have to use a USB cable to hook with the internet?

lol, quite funny to think that you can actually talk to people on your calc without a phone line or a USB cable or even a link cable!! :lol_a:

actually, there used to be a terminal program that let you connect your link cable to an external modem and dial out. i used to try it our like 3-4 years ago or so and it was awesome. of course you were only able to get like 9600baud but hey, that was a cool thing to go into the inetnet using your calc, kinda like first human on the moon. you can probably still get it from ticalc.org's archives for ti83 asm. oh yes, you'll also need a unix computer to connect to...

I saw the TCP/IP protocol but the files you need from the website no longer exist so I couldn't use it.
