Posted: 28 Sep 2003 18:19 GMT Total Posts: 2486 | Okay, I just checked it out. Its just a link chat. You need to connect to your buddy via a calc2calc link to chat...which is pretty useless as it is. Only use would be if you had an IR link or something like that where you can be far from the other guy...

Posted: 30 Sep 2003 18:11 GMT Total Posts: 2486 | actually, there used to be a terminal program that let you connect your link cable to an external modem and dial out. i used to try it our like 3-4 years ago or so and it was awesome. of course you were only able to get like 9600baud but hey, that was a cool thing to go into the inetnet using your calc, kinda like first human on the moon. you can probably still get it from ticalc.org's archives for ti83 asm. oh yes, you'll also need a unix computer to connect to...
