Total Posts: 17 | When I try to download any game at:
www.ticalc.org/pub/86/asm/games
There is ALWAYS an error that says "could not retrive file from data" , or something close to that. What am I doing worng? All the games you guys have work, but other sites, don't work.

Total Posts: 739 | That should work, some games, I'v noticed, simply don't work, genrally not from the TI website, but some from other "less professional", ummmm, do tend to have bad mistakes in the game or in the file itself. |

Total Posts: 2486 | you'd only get that error either if files link is not correct or server is unable to server that file (though it exits).
try right click and then "save target as" and if that doesn't work, try downloading some kind of download manager. a download manager will tell you why this error happens if it will also be unable to download your file. and having dead links doesn't always have something to do with "less professional" sites, since people make sites, they make errors every once in a while. of course, some make more errors, some not but sites and links should be thoroughly tested after any content additions and as not everyone bothers to do that...
