Okay, I know the problem. I think you should try editing your profile and then logging out. You've probably been rapidly licking log out and the computer is getting confused. If that dosne't work, post again.

Yeah, try that. After you get logged out, you can use the "Expire logged in cookie when browser exits" option when you login again, though, its only in Forum login and not the side menu (using this however, will require you to login every time you visit the site and decide you want to post or use loggedin features).

Or try refreshing, sometimes the page status doesn't "update."

mayb u have something that's not letting u change cookies?

For example, after the first time u loaded the site, u set security ratings very high, then the site might nto be able to change the cookie to log you out again?

yeah, good point spiral. i haven't thought of that and it may actually be the case here. check your internet setting guys, see what's up in there. if you're not sure, let us know what you have under security/privacy tab and we'll try to come up with something. i have my security set to medium and privacy to low. to take care of tracker cookies and other crap of that sort i use AdAware and SpyBot Search and Destroy. these are good app, i recommend them to everyone. you'll be amazed how much spyware you have on your computers.

I use Adaware too, it really works, and it's free.

Oh, and I edited my cookies-I can accept all (please spammers and hackers, don't kill my computer now . . .) cookies, so I can log in and out nicely.

If you have your security (content) set to "Medium" and you privacy (cookies) set to "Medium" in IE then you should be fine. Thats the way I am setup.
