check and see if mario is for ION.

Yet another question:
I am having problems uploading a mario level to my computer. no matter what i do it always flashes the INVALID NAME error. i deleted all the wierd characters and stuff, but it still doesn't recognize it as a valid name. HeLp!1! |
dysfunction Goliath Posted: 5 Apr 2004 15:36 GMT Total Posts: 122 | Just rename the file to something normal. The Mario level editor tends to give levels weird .8xp file names. |

Posted: 5 Apr 2004 17:55 GMT Total Posts: 2007 | you mean copy the level into another program? cause when it flashes the error message, it gives me the RENAME option. I rename it to something 'normal' and it retries the process and still fails. |

Second, here's my little walk through: 1.Download the file from the website and save it to a folder on your computer. 2.go into the folder where yo saved the file to, right click on it, and select extract all. 3.open the new folder and send the .8** file, for example mario.8xp is the mario program for the TI-83 Plus, to your calculator by highlighting it, right-clicking on it, and clicking on send to connected TI device: archive. 4.Open the memory menu {[2nd][+] on an 83 plus} and see your program there! |
