PhilosopherEd Goliath Posted: 7 May 2004 16:07 GMT Total Posts: 134 | every time i try to send this piano program to my friends, it gives me an error message that says "err:version". it also happens with some of the other games. could anyone tell me what would make the ti-83+ do this and how i could possibly fix it? |

Posted: 8 May 2004 12:32 GMT Total Posts: 2007 | OS doesn't matter, Allyn. All the kids i give games to [which is quite a few] have OS v1.14 and i never get error screens. BTW PhilEd, there is an appendix of error screens in the 83+ manual. try looking at those. |

Posted: 8 May 2004 18:51 GMT Total Posts: 1892 | OS DOES matter, besides, I always upgrade their OS's when I transfer their games...but I usually don't tell 'em, they get cranky when you say 'I'm upgrading your OS, it takes about 20 minutes, and I hope you have new batteries.' :-)
ERR: Version: YOu have attempted to recieve an incompatible variable version from another calculator...
