RockyFan Probe Posted: 29 Aug 2004 20:06 GMT Total Posts: 4 | On a TI-84 SE, can you do fractions such as 5/7 divided by 8/13? I can not find a fraction key, and I was wandering if you can do that on this calculator?
Thanks |

Numerator *---------* Dominator
Once you realize that, and follow the order of operations...it should come quite simply.
(5/7)/(8/13)
Just use the divison key....

That'll convert a decimal you have just typed to a fraction, if possible. If its not possible, it'll just show the same decimal again.

Kupo Probe Posted: 30 Aug 2004 18:59 GMT Total Posts: 11 | Lol, maybe I should start carrying TWO calculaters, a graphing AND a scientific. I'll be so cool. People will go, "wow that kid has two calculaters, he's so cool, I wish I had his shoes."
And i'll be like, "Yea, I'm cool, give me money." |

You should see my new shoes, all blue.... |
JcCorp Probe Posted: 31 Aug 2004 16:08 GMT Total Posts: Edit | cool. Blue is awesome. my new shoes have see-thru areas, so you can see my socks (or feet, if you will).
By the way, I am the only person in my grade- maybe even my school- that is an expert with calcs. It's kinda weird. |
