I tried getting games from my compiuter to my calculator. but then this message came up:

The software you are installing for this hardware texas instruments silver link (usb graphlink) cable.

Has not passed windows logo testing to verify its compatibility with windows xp.

continuing your instalation of this hardware may impair or destabalize the correct operation of your system either immediatly or in the near future. microsoft strongly recommends that you stop this instalation now.

should i get a new link? should i continue the download. to some its obvious but im still not sure

Just click continue and install it anyway. Windows test is basically MS bull that their guys test the soft and approve it to be windows compatible. All it means is that particular piece of soft (usually drivers and such) didn't go thru MS test and that does not mean it won't work. As long as you get that soft from a well known source it should be safe to install it.
