The directions in the manual are confusing. Also, im afraid of a virus that will mess up my calc. My math teacher told me that you can get a virus that will break your calc completly. Keep in mind that im 12 and my parents bought me this calc cuz it is reqired for my pre-al class. I cant afford to have a $119 get a virus and I have to buy a new one.

So have fun with your new purchase, I'm sure you'll enjoy the 84.

If not, then select USB from the little drop down box when program complains about not being able to find your calc. Also, make sure your calc is turned on and at home screen. Also, make sure your version of TI-Connect is the latest one as old version sometimes has problems.
