Jayhawk Dragoon Posted: 9 Jan 2005 21:37 GMT Total Posts: 80 | It's great to be back writing for Calcgames. Being a columnist at a pretty darned good TI site is the best job in the world.
One of the things I've noticed about the community is we give a lot of focus to the best programs released while a lot of other important news and things that might be of interest to the people go under the radar. I've been away from the community for awhile, as well, so I'm not always in the know about what's going on.
Not every happening in the community can be reported in a news item on the front page of the site. If we reported everything that is or might be of interest to people, we'd fill the front page daily. I'd like to create a section at the end of my columns called Odds 'n' Ends, hence the title of my thread. I'm going to try to mention these things that would otherwise go unnoticed.
If you're got a program you're working on but haven't completed, send it to me. If you've just created a new site and it's a good site and you'd like to get the word out about it, send it to me. If you have something else you think deserves mention, send it to me.
I'll be writing a few times a month. What you send me might not get posted the same day or even within a couple of days, but if it deserves mention, I'll get the word out.
Contact me at redux@calcgames.org if you have content that you think should be featured. I'll give you credit for it in my column if I use material you send me. Thanks. :) |
