EDIT: Well, I figured it out and it seems to be a better choice to get the gray cable (plus it's cheaper) I'll just have to use my brother's 83+ for a rom image when I program.

Posted: 5 Feb 2005 22:33 GMT Total Posts: 2486 | Umm, gray cable is for mac/pc while black one if for pc only. Other than that, they're the same. And yes, you can use gray cable with 84 if you use TI-Connect. Tho, I suggest you stick with usb on your 84 since its much faster.
