Calcgames has most of the good games on it, with fewer quadratic solvers... |
PogoDaMonkey Dragoon Posted: 7 May 2005 07:49 GMT Total Posts: 72 | Yeah, but sometimes you can find a good thing or two at
ticalc.org
Most of it is junk, you may find a good one here or there, go through the archives. |

alex10819 Wraith Posted: 7 May 2005 13:56 GMT Total Posts: 507 | and why i submit my useless stupid stuff there and not here... (with the obvious exception of TEXTRPG1, but i was a horrible programmer then)

Jonny23451 Ultralisk Posted: 7 May 2005 17:21 GMT Total Posts: 214 | Eh, well what I submit here are all games. Just games...and they aren't the best games in the world. They are fun to make tho. :). Most of the stuff at ticalc.org is crap...they have a lot of those Text RPGs running around, and lots of I shouldn't say this because I make basic games too, but a lot of copied basic games...because people don't like makign original stuff. :). O well, what's the point of making basic falldown if there's already an ASM version of falldown |

As with basic falldown, I dunno, sometime people want to see if that's possible in basic or whatnot or just have their own version... Same goes for those quadratic solvers. Everyone makes one and submits it to get dls. No one seems to bother asking themselved whether their prog is needed in the archive or not.

alex10819 Wraith Posted: 9 May 2005 13:07 GMT Total Posts: 507 | yeah, i think ticalc should ban the uploading of Quadratic solvers, but post a copy of a source. also, they seriously need a way to get buggy programming removed easily...(people report it, program gets checked by volunteers...) |
