You have to do it from the home screen. Press the HOME button first.

Yes, although you need several different programs for this to work correctly. You have to run hw3patch first, and then run GhostBuster on the program. hw3patch (Hardware three patch) unlocks some of the data available on the calculator, and GhostBuster simply patches the programs themselves.

These programs are only intended as a temporary solution until the program author (hopefully) makes their programs fully compatible with the 89t. Also, please keep in mind that both hw3patch and GhostBuster require the user to read their extensive documentation before attempting to run them, as they require some special syntax to run, among other issues that you'll need to learn about.

Please don't use all caps. It's rude.

... you run the NEW file for the game you ghostbusted... why on earth would you think you would run the UNPATCHED file... gosh...

He still doesn't need to yell... And when they do yell, it makes me that much more likely to be civilized back.

the "Line 1111 Emulation Error" (normal 89 emulation) has only one fix (in my experince) taking out the batteries... ALL of em... even the backup... :(

No. The Line 1111 Emulator is a function of the chip. You can easily recover from this (and other "black-bar" errors) by pressing 2nd+left+right+on at the same time, in that order, as explained in FAQ 39. This will, however, clear your RAM.

As for you, justinx, you're not following our instructions. After you run ghostbuster, DELETE the ORIGINAL file (the FIRST parameter to ghostbuster) and RUN the NEW file (the SECOND parameter).

Hey Andy, it seems like it may be a good idea for us to write up a good Ghostbusting tutorial. It seems pretty hard for novice users to use so doing so may eliminate some questions.
Btw, I thought we already had an 89t Tankers version in the last pack? It was supposed to be in 89t folder inside the zip and 89t users would use that modified executable instead of original one...

Tip: Run tdat() not tankers() (that may have been mentioned, but here it is again) because its not in the Readme.

Ang ghostbusting things is not always necessary, unless you absolutely NEED that 2s speed difference during compression. Only do it if the game was made before the Titanium came out and does not mention and compatibility with it.

For example, BomberDude needs absolutely no ghostbusting, though ghostbuster will tell you it added 1 patch (which is probably decompression).. Similiar with most programs...

Dont ghostbust m4r10, it will only destroy your calculator.

And if these things were already mentioned, dont yell at me. I have to leave soon so I thought I'd put some 2 cents into it.
