Mine has 1.00(very old, but I heard that it's rather better than others).. Anyway, should I update?

I wouldn't go higher than 2.05 unless you want to have that silly desktop function and clock function. I found that older stuff doesn't like new OS that much and 2.09 also puts stricter exe limits... Your call, you can always downgrade later if you don't like the new OS. Make an OS dump or your curent revision before you upgrade so that you can go back.

I think you should upgrade to a more recent OS. 2.09 dosn't have any realy huge advantages over 2.05. if you have HW 1 you can't use the clock. The exe limits can be broken by programs like superStart, so they are not a big deal. you might have trouble whith old programs though.

If I remember right, AMS 1.00 can't even run on HW2. So they wouldn't have clock functionality anyway...
