Hey guys. I'm looking for an ti-89 factor program that allows you to factor polynomial equations. Does anyone know where I can get one that will work on my ti-84 plus?

Thanks

I believe it's built-in to the OS... I don't have an 89 available so I can't check.

edit: wait what? do you want an 89 or an 84+?!?!?!?

89 already has all these functions built in. Just go to the math menu and look under algebra submenu. No only are those things built in, they also show in pretty print.

Is the 89 program on the web anywhere so that I can put it on my 84? Or is there another one that will factor polynomials.

It's built IN to the 89's OS... It is NOT a program. Therefore, no. If you want math programs, go hunt through ticalc.org.

You can't put 89 programs on an 84+. Get the symbolic application for the 84+. It factors polynomials.

According to this, Symbolic cannot factor polynomials.

you might have a hard time finding one for your 84, but your 89 will do it no problem with the factor() function. But I would suggest learning how to factor by hand, it really helps.
