Alexd Probe Posted: 30 Jan 2006 15:49 GMT Total Posts: 2 | Everyone in my Algebra 2 class gets to borrow a TI-84 Plus Silver Edition for the year...but I have one gripe. The person who used it before me screwed the whole thing up. So I decided I'd just reset it and work from there. But then I realized in resetting it I would be deleting every app and other useful thing on my calc...which if my teachers found out I'd probably have to buy another one. Can someone help me out in this tough and dire situation? ;_; |

In the memory menu, anything with an asterisk ("*") beside it is archived. To archive something, press "ENTER", and an asterisk should show up beside the App/Prgm. Once everything is archived, you can do a reset without losing anything. |

Reset all ram (MAKE SURE YOU ARCHIVE ALL IMPORTANT PROGRAMS, VARIBLES, LISTS, etc.)
Other than that I don't know what to do. You might want to explain what is messed up with your calc in this forum so someone may be able to help more |

Alexd Probe Posted: 30 Jan 2006 18:25 GMT Total Posts: 2 | Well, I tried it, and everything worked out. It reset the calculator back to the way it was from the start. Thanks so much for helping me out with this situation. Now I can screw around with it ^_^ |
