gotmilk Probe Posted: 1 Mar 2006 20:13 GMT Total Posts: 3 | I recently got a TI 84 Plus SE as a present, and have been trying to add games to it. I have added a couple, inclouded a basic tetris, I got Mirrage 0S to work, I have 2 ASM Marage games working.
However, (And I will tell you that I'm using a Mac Ver. 10.3.9) whenever I try to drag game files onto my list of files that are currently on my calculator (which is how you do it on a mac. trust me, ive already added 4 games this way and they work) I get this error message that says "Errors occurred while sending ZMERCURY.8XP. A distribution list, containing the device(s) which returned an error, was created for each file."
And it doesnt work.
PLEASE! I NEED HELP! |

Also I think that the problem is that the program is being sent to my ram, not the memeory hard drive. Because Macs you drag and drop it and theres no sections to where to drop it, I don't know how to change where to send it to. |

Try dragging files over the text that says archive when you're viewing on-calc files. This should probably work. I don't use a Mac but may be able to try it at work and then try to help you out.

Jonny23451 Ultralisk Posted: 3 Mar 2006 08:13 GMT Total Posts: 214 | you don't have enough space. delete some apps if necessary. or yeah...means you have a lot of big program files that aren't archived (with a litle * next to them). Must be a big file cuz TI-84's hold a lot of memory. |

gotmilk Probe Posted: 5 Mar 2006 16:18 GMT Total Posts: 3 | I learned how to archive files which helps but the big ones, such as this thing called "ourworld" still gets the error.
on my TI connect software it doesnt break down the files on my calculator into cateogories. it simply has every file, listed alphabetically.... |
Andy Administrator Posted: 5 Mar 2006 16:30 GMT Total Posts: 939 | Ourworld is a large App. Being an App, it needs all that space to be free contiguously (one block). While you may have 100KB of free archive, for example, it might not all be in one block -- you can have several blocks of 10KB free, for example. It's somewhat hard to explain non-technically. |
